Join Our Crew
This summer we are seeking qualified help to join our family as a member of our chicken processing crew. We operate our own licensed facility. We are seeking individuals who are willing to work 5 hour shifts on Fridays or Saturdays. Each employee will be paid $15/hr in wages. All employees will receive a w2 from our farm business in 2022 and must complete a Federal & Iowa w4 form and I9 form.
Qualifications
We are seeking individuals who are eligible to work in Iowa and are of legal age. Individuals must be able to work on their feet for several hours, lift up to 25 lbs, have experience with hunting, fishing, meat processing and/or food service, be an enthusiastic worker, and fast learners. We will provide on the job training.
In 2022 we plan on processing 11 batches of chickens. Processing days will be on Saturday mornings from 7:30 am - 1 pm and some Fridays from Noon - 5 pm. Current dates include:
May 27th & 28th
June 25th
July 23rd
Aug 13th & 27th
Sept 10th & 24th
Oct. 8th & 22nd
Nov 5th & 19th
